"I’m thrilled to have found this MedSpa. No need to look elsewhere, BCC is everything that you are looking for. Thus far, I have had a hydrafacial and Botox (both for the first time). My experience was fantastic for both procedures. Dr. Dozier assisted in starting me off with the appropriate amount of Botox to achieve my beauty goals. She was very knowledgeable and took my unique skin into consideration when choosing the right plan for me. I felt comfortable and confident in her and am so happy with the results (and this is just the beginning!). I will definitely be coming back and continue to enhance my natural beauty. Thank you Dr. Dozier and staff! You’ll be seeing a lot more of me in the near future."- K.R. / Google / Nov 11, 2020

How Does Sclerotherapy Work?
Sclerotherapy treatments are performed in one of our private treatment rooms, and these treatments are typically short and generally don't require anesthesia. The blood vessels being treated will be marked, and the skin will be sanitized. From there, we will use a fine needle to inject the sclerosing solution. This process can be repeated to treat all spider veins. Following your appointment, you can leave to get back to your normal activities. You may see mild redness, bruising, or swelling in the areas treated, but this should go away relatively quickly. Dr. Dozier suggests that you wear compression garments to encourage blood circulation after your treatment for faster, better results. It can take some time for the sclerosing solution to show results, but eventually, the treated veins should shrink, become a white color, and then disappear or fade. You may require at least two sessions to get your best results, but most patients are happy with the improvements after their first session. Miami Beach and Coconut Grove, FL men and women can call Brickell Cosmetic Center to schedule a consultation with Dr. Dozier today.
How well does sclerotherapy work?
Sclerotherapy is a very safe and effective treatment for most patients, but everyone responds differently to the treatment. Dr. Dozier can perform a skin assessment and ask about your symptoms — so you know what to expect. Most patients find relief from pain and other symptoms after just one session, but some patients require two treatments before they experience the results they desire.
What about other vein removal treatments?
Some people turn to over-the-counter methods for spider vein removal, but these products do nothing to treat noticeable spider veins. There are surgical treatments available, but they are usually invasive and require long recovery times. Brickell Cosmetic Center can treat spider veins with a quick and painless procedure instead.
Are there negative side effects of sclerotherapy?
Mild redness, bruising, and swelling are a normal and expected part of the recovery process. However, complications from sclerotherapy are rare. Our care team in Miami, Fl, can provide information about how to minimize side effects and how long you should expect them to last. Our goal is to make your treatment as painless and comfortable as possible while providing long-lasting results.
